MATERIALS:
– Yarn for dolls: DK light weight yarn or sport yarn. I used the Schachenmayr Catania, you can use any type of yarn you want, but make sure to adjust the crochet hook size to match your chosen yarn.
– Yarn for castle: Chunky, blanket, chenille, plush or velvet yarn (Such as: Bernat blanket, Himalaya Velvet, Himalaya Dolphin Baby, YarnArt Dolce,…). I used chunky yarn with a size of 45m/100gr and yarn thickness about 6 – 8 mm. The chunky yarn I used is from a local brand.
The amount of yarn needed for this pattern I used is: Light brown yarn: 200gr. Dark brown yarn: 70gr. Beige yarn: 20gr.
– Crochet hook: 2 mm and 5.5 mm or 6 mm. Or another size suitable for the yarn you use.
– Felt fabric: black.
– Black safety eyes size 8 mm.
– Finished size: 16 cm for the girl, 18 cm for the boy and 37 cm for the castle.
